David has more than 30 years of experience in the information technology and electronics industry. After working with BT as part of a sponsored sandwich course, he graduated from Loughborough University and was later awarded a Ph.D. for post-graduate research into high speed digital microelectronics.

From university he moved to GEC-Marconi on the development, and later the marketing, of semiconductor products for space and defence systems. Before joining Regent, David was Divisional Manager of Enabling Technologies at BIS Strategic Decisions, an international market information consulting company specialising in IT and electronics.

David joined Regent in 1995 and has completed numerous research assignments into various IT market sectors for clients in addition to participation in Strategic Audit assignments.
