Communications group Daisy has paid £12 million for the acquisition of Vodafone's mobile voice and data service reselling service, currently owned by Outsourcery.
The acquisition will allow UK-based Daisy Group to buy services from mobile phone networks and re-package them to sell on to businesses as new contracts, M&A Deals reported.
Daisy chief executive Matthew Riley told the news provider he believed the acquisition, which makes Daisy Vodafone's largest mobile managed service in the UK, was a "strong strategic fit."
He added: "This acquisition will drive further cross selling opportunities and also helps us for the increase in smart phone adoption and the uptake of mobile data, which we are seeing in the industry."
This acquisition is the second in as many months for Daisy Group, which has been established for ten years. The company recently took on O-bit Telecom, a company which provides a full range of mobile services.
