Vodafone Global Enterprise has acquired two telecom expense management firms.
With a total value of almost $10 million (£7 million), the acquisition of Quickcomm and TnT Expense Management is an international move by Vodafone and will cement the company's position in Australia, America, Singapore, the UK, Germany and France.
The deals are expected to boost client relations and help Vodafone's customers further evolve their communications strategies.
Nick Jeffery, chief executive officer of Vodafone Global Enterprise, said: "These acquisitions will benefit our customers by providing even greater visibility and control of their fixed and mobile spend and this, in turn, will further the business case for multinationals to adopt unified communications solutions."
He said that the firm's 570 million corporate customers are driven by the need to cut costs and better manage their telecoms solutions.
Last month, speculation was rife that Vodafone would take control of Verzion Communications, a firm which it already holds a 45 per cent stake in.
