Facilities management software provider Innovise Software has announced the acquisition of Indentifile Systems Limited, which designs and supplies ID card and visitor management solutions.
Following the acquisition, Innovise will retail Identifile's current product portfolio and plans to integrate the ID systems with its TimeGate application during the course of this year.
Further investment will be channelled to develop a leadership position in visitor management solutions.
"We are confident that Identifile will complement our existing portfolio of facilities management solutions," commented Mike Taylor, chief executive officer of Innovise.
"The business will be merged into our software division and be managed day to day by Graeme Hughes."
Identifile founder and manager John Westwood will also work with Innovise to manage key account relationships in the wake of the deal.
It is the latest in a series of acquisitions made by Innovise, which include Marlow-based Rapidhost Limited in July 2009 and training and consulting firm Harbrook Consultants the previous month.
