UK-based Apple products reseller Square Group has acquired certain assets of Computer Warehouse, including the company's brand name.
Computer Warehouse, which has 23 years of experience in supplying Apple products and services via the internet and retail, was acquired yesterday (March 25th), shortly after Square Group launched its new online store.
The firm now intends to use the Computer Warehouse brand to push its internet presence further and grow the name's market share, according to Darren King, managing director of Square Group.
"We're also very much looking forward to working with CW's business and education clients, and bring them our experience, knowledge and values built over the last 16 years of Square's trading history," he went on to say.
Computer Warehouse chairman Jonathan Cole added that he was "delighted" with the acquisition deal.
Launched earlier this month, Square Group's online store features Apple, Wacom, G-Tech, Bose, Netgear, Adobe and other brands.
