London-based Advent Software, which provides software and services to the investment management industry, has acquired all the outstanding shares of Norwegian software company Goya.
The acquisition deal allows Advent to offer Goya's product, Tradex, which is designed for fund managers and distributors in Europe and the Middle East, as part of its package.
It is expected to complement Advent Portfolio Exchange, providing clients with a front-to-back office solution for fund and asset management.
Stephanie DiMarco, founder and chief executive officer of Advent, said the deal will provide customers with the tools to adapt to a changing market landscape.
"Further, by combining Tradex with our other solutions, we will have the most competitive solution for the international fund management and distribution market," she added.
Tim Decker, head of electronic trading and connectivity at Advent, hosted a presentation at the TradeTech USA event last month, taking place in New York.
