Nominations have opened for the Middle East's most prestigious telecoms and finance awards, which celebrate exceptional leadership and innovations as well as merger and acquisition activity in the telecoms sector.
The second TMT Finance Middle East Awards will be held in Qatar on April 26th as part of the two-day TMT Finance and Investment 2010 conference.
Telecoms consultancy Broadgroup, together with financial newletter Telecom Deal Alert and an academy of investors and advisors will organise and judge the awards.
Categories include Telecom Deal of the Year, Mobile Operator of the Year, Telecom Merger and Acquisition Adviser of the Year and Software Solution of the Year.
"Telecom operators from across the Middle Eastern region continue to demonstrate an extraordinary appetite for expanding internationally despite challenging market conditions," said managing director of BroadGroup TMT Ventures Dominic Lowndes.
BroadGroup will also join an academy of top speakers at this year's ICT Spring Europe event in Luxembourg.
