Calico Energy Services, a provider of independent power producers and related cloud-based software platforms, has completed a merger with energy technology consulting firm Invaluable Technologies.
The merger deal brings together Calico's managed energy storage solutions with Invaluable Technologies' demand side management solutions, equipping the combined firm to deliver a complete energy supply and demand management system.
Matthew Burkmier, president of Invaluable Technologies, said that Calico brings an impressive storage management solution and profound software, alternative energy, telematics and hardware experience to its company.
"We are excited to deliver solutions that improve the way utilities and their customers work together while driving energy efficiency, demand management, peak-time load management and renewable energy integration for a more sustainable future," he added.
In June 2009, Invaluable Technologies became a member of the US Green Building Council, a non-profit organisation dedicated to making ecologically-sound buildings available to everybody within a generation.
