Iron Data, a proprietary data processing systems firm, has announced the completion of a merger with Versa Systems in Toronto, California.
The deal, which marks Iron Data's sixth acquisition since 2005, will see the company join Versa Systems' range of regulatory software solutions for government agencies throughout North America.
Versa Systems' applications manage more than 1,400 license types for over five million licence holders in 30 federal and state agencies, as well as disability determination case management software.
"Iron Data's strategy is to continue growing in the government sector and to continue finding opportunities to employ the business's expertise in case management and business processes in government and other applications," commented Jeff Smock, chief executive officer of Iron Data.
Mr Smock was last year named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee region, which recognises success in innovation, financial performance and personal commitment.
