Advantedge Healthcare Solutions (AHS), which provides medical billing software and practice management services to the healthcare industry, has announced an agreement to merge with billing firm Physicians' Service Center (PSC).
The combination of the two firms will create one of the largest medical billing and practice management companies in the US, with almost 300 associates providing services to more than 120 doctors' groups from four locations.
PSC has more than 30 years of experience serving hospital-based doctors and other practices, making it a natural ally to AHS' software and technology platform, which collates financial information and speeds patient payments.
David Langsam, president and chief executive officer of AHS, said the merger with PSC will increase processing efficiencies and maximise performance.
"We look forward to continuing to deliver the highest quality billing solutions to all of our current and future clients," he commented.
Cumberland Valley Medical Services recently extended its agreement with AHS to include anaesthesia billing and accounts receivable services for the hospital.
