Coastal Capital Acquisition has completed a merger with Helix DC.
The merger with the Colorado-based housing and security software developer marks the beginning of Coastal Capital's future merger and acquisition plans, says president and chief executive officer Tracy Anderson.
It is the first merger of many and should make clear the company's corporate agenda, she continues.
"Coastal Capital Acquisition Corporation will expose our shareholder base to value created by mergers and acquisitions with private companies looking to, at some point in the near term, become fully reporting stand alone publicly traded companies," Ms Anderson added.
A Georgia corporation, Helix Acquisition, will be created as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Coastal Capital and will then merge with Helix DC, she explained.
Founded in February 2005, Helix DC is an all-inclusive IT solutions provider with an emphasis on niche solutions development and staff with years of experience in housing.
