SoftPro Systems, the Hyderabad-based business solutions provider, has acquired South African firm Cura Risk Management Software.
It hopes the $19 million (£11.6 million) cash deal will make it the global leader in governance, risk and compliance.
Some $16 million will be paid upfront, with the balance dependent on performance.
The acquisition is expected to ensure six-fold growth by the end of the year, with revenue of $200 million aimed for in the next five years.
Established in 1994, SoftPro Systems enables businesses to better utilise their IT spending and enhance their return on investment, while keeping up-to-date with the latest advances.
Its solutions allow customers to maintain a competitive advantage, control costs and cultivate growth.
Founded in 2002, Cura has offices in the US, UK, Australia and South Africa and distributors in a further ten countries.
Its software solutions for governance, risk management and compliance are used by more than 150 organisations worldwide.
