A pair of leading firms in the Pacific north-west region have announced the completion of a merger, forming a multidisciplinary business and technology consulting firm.
Takbax Technologies and Valhalla Research Group have combined to form Visiomente Corporation, which will used client-focused methodologies to deliver strategic solutions to clients.
Jan Vandebos, chief executive officer of Visiomente, said social networking websites like Twitter and Facebook are leading the way in targeting significant consumer segments.
"With the merger, we've created a more diversified consulting and technology services firm that is uniquely positioned to help our clients overcome their biggest challenges, including effectively reaching millions of customers," he added.
Prior to the merger, Takbax Technologies and Valhalla Research's client rosters included AT&T, Google and Microsoft Corporation.
The technology services merger follows the high-profile acquisition of Wind River Systems by Intel Corporation, in a deal valued at approximately $884 million (£538.9 million) in the aggregate.
