Canada-based Sound Revolution has announced the closure of a merger with On4 Communications, which manufactures two-way communication devices that track people, pets and assets.
On4 provides both hardware-only and fully integrated custom solutions integrating proprietary and non-proprietary hardware and wireless carrier platforms with non-competing vertical partners.
Sound Revolution will adopt the name of On4 Communications, Incorporated upon approval of the merger.
Penny Green, president and chief executive officer of Sound Revolution, said the agreement was the right move for the company and its shareholders.
"The company has always strived to provide its shareholders with the most value for their investment and this merger with On4, an up and coming technology company with innovative products, does just that," she commented.
Digital entertainment distributor Sound Revolution appointed Ms Green, who is also the managing attorney of the law firm Bacchus Corporate and Securities Law, as its president in February 2009.
