Voice, data and internet services provider Eurotel has announced its intentions to pursue further value-based acquisitions in 2009.
The statement follows a deal last month in which the UK-based firm acquired Griffin Internet, bolstering the Eurotel customer base and enabling Griffin to focus on its core strategy of delivering to channel partners - Griffin customers will still use the firm's network but will be able to profit from products offered by Eurotel.
Commenting on the deal, Nick Williams, chief executive officer of Eurotel, says "everybody benefits" from the acquisition.
Mr Williams comments: "We grow our customer base whilst developing the excellent relationship we have with Griffin.
"Former Griffin direct broadband customers benefit from our commitment to exceptional customer service and wide range of voice and data solutions."
For Mr Williams, the acquisition signals a "clear intent" to fund more such deals in 2009.
Eurotel works with over 16,000 small businesses, assisting them in helping current customers and acquiring new ones.
