Amcom has declared the acquisition of New Hampshire based SDC Solutions, for an undisclosed fee.
SDC provides communications services for prestigious organisations in the US, including education, healthcare, government and corporate institutions.
Through the acquisition, Amcom - which is a call centre specialist - gains the SDC solutions product line and expands its customer base.
SDC says the takeover enables it to provide an enhanced service for its clients, as well ensuring support and growth for its staff.
Amcom chief executive officer Chris Heim describes SDC as having a strong presence in the small to mid-sized market, adding that the firm "enjoys the loyalty of some of the country's finest organisations".
"We're impressed with SDC Solutions' well-regarded software and anticipate remarkable demand for these products from Amcom customers as well as the market in general," Mr Heim states.
Minneapolis-based Amcom provides communications services, managing both day-to-day and emergency service needs.
