Axell Wireless has acquired the assets, technology, intellectual property and products of Israeli-based competitor Dekolink.
Following the acquisition, Axell Wireless has access to the digital repeater technology of Dekolink and an enhanced customer base covering North, central and Latin America.
"The combination of Dekolink's market leading digital technology combined with Axell Wireless' existing multiband solutions will be a powerful combination for both our existing and prospective customers in the short and medium term," comments Ian Brown, chief executive officer of Axell Wireless.
An extended range of solutions is expected to be developed by the converged research and development operations of the firms.
Formed in 2007 from the merger of AFL and Avitec, Axell Wireless is headquartered in Buckinghamshire and operates regional offices worldwide.
Dekolink has worldwide installations of more than 35,000 enterprise level buildings equipped with its solutions and offers a wide range of solutions for public safety and carriers.
